"View" Menu

Main Toolbar

Switches the Main Toolbar (which contains general program functions) on and off.

Format Toolbar

Switches the Format Toolbar (which contains text and paragraph formatting functions) on and off.

Status Bar

Switches the Status Bar (which contains status, help information and the time and date) on and off.

Side Panel

Switches the Side Panel on and off.

Jump Main<->Pad (Ctrl+J)

Toggles the cursor between the main edit window and the Pad, so you don't need to use the mouse. If the Side Panel is showing one of the other pages, the Pad is brought into view.

Refresh (F5)

Repaints the text area and updates the state of all buttons and menu items. This isn't necessary in normal use of the program, but if the window becomes corrupted in some way, this option should cause it to be redrawn properly.

Word Wrap (F6)

Determines whether lines of text wrap when they hit the edge of the text area (on), or whether they continue past the edge of the window until the end of the paragraph (off). For almost all writing applications, word wrap should be on.
